St. Paul, MN, December 2014 — Josh Folland, Manager of Real Estate Due Diligence at Anchor Bank, been awarded the prestigious MAI designation, the highest professional designation available to an appraiser. The MAI designation is held by appraisers who are experienced in the valuation and evaluation of commercial, industrial, residential and other types of properties, and advise clients on real estate investment decisions. Currently, about five percent of real estate appraisal professionals hold the MAI designation in Minnesota.

St. Paul (Dec. 09, 2014) — Twin Cities-based Anchor Bank announced its plans for expansion into the southwest metro and Mankato markets with the execution of an agreement for the acquisition of substantially all of the operating assets and deposits of Eden Prairie-based Voyager Bank. The proposed acquisition coincides with Anchor’s strategy to expand its footprint, enter new markets, and increase its market share.
The addition of Voyager’s four bank locations in Eden Prairie, Mankato, Minnetonka, and Shakopee, allows Anchor to tap into the dynamic market potential of the southwest metro and Mankato community. Anchor has 16 other locations rooted in the Twin Cities, and recently celebrated the grand-opening of its new Wayzata bank location.

Anchor Bank has named Eric Britt as Market President, Commercial Banking. Britt, who joined Anchor in 2006, opened Anchor Bank Snelling location in 2007 and was previously a Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Team Lead. He is stepping into the role most recently held by Arleen Sullivan, who has been named Director of Community Banking.

Anchor Bank has named Jim Collins as the Director of Commercial and Private Banking, effective May 2014. Collins joined Anchor in 2004 and most recently as the Director of Business Banking. He has since built a high performing team that is focused on serving the needs of their clients. In addition to expanding his role into private banking, Collins will oversee the new leasing and commercial real estate initiatives at Anchor Bank.

Anchor Bank has named Arleen Sullivan as the Director of Community Banking, effective May 2014. Sullivan has over 26 years of banking experience and has been with Anchor since 2003, most recently in the role of the President, Commercial Banking East Market.
As the Director of Community Banking, Sullivan will be working closely with the Business Banking, Investments, Personal Banking, SBA and Mortgage leaders.
